Ladder Reset delayed

Since most players are still leveling, I don't think it's a good idea to reset the ladder - I probably won't reset it for a very long time, or at least tell whenever we see a full page of level 65s on the ladder page. So players wanting to work the ladder, have plenty of time to do so.
Again, if anyone is caught cheating or gaining off an exploit, they risk loosing their ladder position, and possibly their account could be banned.

Randyracer, you're 65 on the ladder, don't forget to talk to the in-game ladder GM for your title. Also PM me with your account here at the forums, and I'll set your rank.

Notice to players using EqEmulator.Net Login Server

AXClassic Emulator uses two Login Servers;
our own LS,
login.axclassic.com:5999
and EqEmulator.net LS,
eqemulator.net:5998
AXClassic login server is always on line with no problems.
EqEmulator login server is on most of the time, but sometimes gets disconnected, tell I see and manual re-connect it. - this is due to a glitch in the Dual Login Server system I've been working on, and haven't had time to figure out yet.
Solution would be to set up your client for AXClassic login server, or PM me to re-connect to eqemulator.net (I'm usually around, just didn't notice it got disconnected).

A package for developers, may also be used for updating your Repack.
Ladder Deadline Update

I noticed just a few players have advanced past the first reward (20), and your character name won't even show on the ladder tell you reach level 5.
I figure one month may not be enough time, and all this is very good, as I'm looking for ways to keep people playing the game and not worried about getting to 65. I know there are very good ideas out there on how to do this (better than mine I'm sure), my problem is, I need to find the time to pull it all together and quickly get it up and running. This solution I have now, is not even done yet, but it does appear to work. Hopefully, it's the beginning of something better.
Anyway I decided to prolong the current ladder season as follows;
After the first player reaches 65, we'll wait 30 days, then reset it.
This should give everyone a better chance to do all the levels.
Season three Ladder to start on Friday

New ladder starts this Friday April 16, 2010, and ends 30 days later. Ending time is negotiable - if anyone thinks it's too short or too long, please post.
The new Ladder GM NPC, "Champion Darkwater" should be at most starting zones , usually near the Norrath Adventurer.
He'll be granting rewards starting at level 20, and up to 65. Level 65 also comes with a title on request.
The other two Ladder Champs ; Shadowfist and Princesse, can request [title] from Darkwater, and he should grant them (if not, post, because I'm thinking it works this time).
The idea this time around, is to have more rewards available and provide more time to get them. Only Champion Darkwater will be providing rewrds for ladder winners (no more GM Rewards).
Repack Updated 03-18-10

The repack has been updated to the latest Rathe DB and EXE's.
Included in this update you will find a new folder in the GUI directory called Dual login, Using the files in there gives you the option for using both axclassic & eqemu login at the same time. Angelox has been working on that for awhile now, so Enjoy  .

I just wanted to updated everyone, the wiki is opened back up to the public I think I should have the spam bots under control.  So anyone can help and build the WIKI so all new players and server admins will have a good start.

Repack Updated !

The repack has been updated to the latest Rathe DB and EXE's, That being said I have more to add. 
We talked this over for awhile now and have decided to remove the PEQ portion of the repack, This has nothing to do with PEQ we have the greatest respect for them. We decided to do this because we (axclassic Team) are spread way to thin to also provide support for another database, we need to stay focused on AXClassic and make it the best we can. I truly believe this is the best option for us at this point.

LADDER STARTED

I started early because I have to go out and may not be back by noon.
Any new characters made from now on, are included.
Characters will not show on the ladder page tell they've reached level 5.
Ladder to start Wednesday

New date for ladder start will be Wednesday - Feb 24th at noon. Characters made after this schedule, will be auto-included in the Ladder.
Since we know that, it is almost impossible to make a game void of exploits, be aware that anyone caught taking "short-cuts" will be excluded from the Ladder.
Power leveling would be an example to this.
